WELCOME TO THE THEATRE DIRECTORS AND STAGE DESIGNERS WEB SITE
THAT REPRESENTS THE BENCHMARK FOR EVERYONE WHO IS PASSIONATE ABOUT SCENOGRAPHY, WHETHER THEY DESIGN, BUILD, TEACH OR STUDY.
NOW THE ENTIRE COLLECTION OF
THE SCENOGRAPHER IN DIGITAL FORMAT
The Study Centre for Scenic Arts (SCSA) has digitized every issue of The Scenographer
produced since its launch in 2002, so as to offer our readers a
comprehensive archive of valuable documentation on the technical and
creative aspects of such a noble craft.
The Scenographer
magazine celebrates a re-launch with a new series of monographic issues
featuring world-class practitioners of contemporary scenic arts.
Discover their creative visions and technical expertise in each stunningly illustrated issue.
We work closely with each designer to produce a global account of their
working practices and an intriguing insight into their design
philosophy.
The Scenographer, though
in quality magazine format, is not your average read it, chuck it pulp
publication, think of it more as a book to read, consult, and dip into
time and time again. Add it to your personal library of resource
material on theatre and film design. Use it for study, research,
inspiration or just plain interest.
Download in high-definition PDF format the 15 back issues that make up this unique collection, for a total of around 850 beautifully illustrated pages: a wealth of resource material comprising
articles, features, essays and interviews with prominent stage and set
designers from around the globe, illustrated with over 600 full-colour images.
